Aditya Kumar Sharma is a highly motivated and committed Automation Test Analyst with 6 years of experience in Software Testing. He has 5 years of experience in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver and has been involved in scripting new functionality, enhancing existing script for the functionality changes, debugging scripts, and executing scripts using Selenium. Aditya has hands-on experience in working with UFT and has executed Automation scripts using both UFT as a standalone and with ALM-UFT integration. Currently, Aditya is working as a Senior Software Engineer-Test at Freshworks Inc. (formerly Freshdesk), where he is involved in the project titled "Refine BAU Automation for Devops Enablement" for Direct Line Group. He has developed a framework to automate UIS business flows using Java, HACL, and JNA API to eliminate the use of UFT for bringing the automation of UIS application under the same technology as used for Web automation. The framework developed by Aditya has implemented POM model to capture screen's fields and labels for easy maintenance, built reusable utility in java to carry out automation in a similar fashion as done by UFT, and added features like implicit and fluent wait for screen synchronization during screen navigation. Aditya is currently working on the migration of Smoke and Regression pack from UFT to this framework. Successfully migrated UIS Smoke test pack to this framework from UFT, Aditya expects to bring 20% reduction in test execution time, and also expected to save $ 46032 annually to the client due to the elimination of the license cost for UFT.
